The New Orleans Youth Alliance (NOYA) is a healing-centered youth development intermediary for the Greater New Orleans area. NOYA works to cultivate a system of high-quality, well-resourced youth development organizations that center youth leadership, racial equity and intersectional equity in their work with young people. NOYA achieves its mission through three key areas of service: program quality and professional development, policy and advocacy, and organizational effectiveness.

Mission

Pontchartrain Conservancy’s mission is to drive environmental sustainability and stewardship through scientific research, education, and advocacy.

The Pontchartrain Conservancy is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization consisting of a 14-member board of directors representing Basin parishes and regulatory agencies.

The Lake Pontchartrain Basin is a 10,000 square mile watershed encompassing 16 Louisiana parishes. The land use of the region is both rural and urban and is the most densely populated region in Louisiana, including metro New Orleans and the state capital, Baton Rouge. It is one of the largest estuarine systems in the Gulf of Mexico containing over 22 essential habitats. The Basin's topography ranges from rolling woodlands in the north to coastal marshes in the south, with the 630 square mile Lake Pontchartrain as its centerpiece.

Recirculating Farms is a 501c3 non-profit collaborative of farmers, educators, and activists committed to building an equitable food system from farm to fork. We run ecologically and socially responsible programs, that grow local, affordable food through innovative, eco-efficient methods, based on historic practices. Through training, outreach and advocacy, we advance sustainable farming and create stable jobs in green businesses, in diverse communities, to foster physical, mental, and financial wellness.

Song CDC's mission is rooted in the Vietnamese American experience of New Orleans East and aims to improve the quality of life of residents through community power-building and anti-displacement efforts. Together with community partners, our justice work encompasses health, climate, food, education, housing, workforce as well as the culture and arts.

The Water Institute is an independent, applied research organization who advances actionable research, technology, and planning in support of science-informed decision making.

We serve as a thought partner, bridging diverse disciplines and organizations. We draw on our roots in the Mississippi River Delta and Gulf Coast, where water is both a strength and a vulnerability, to tackle challenges wherever they are.
